Joint CEO, SKT Quality Builds
Karen Nash
Karen Nash is Joint CEO of SKT Quality Builds. She brings over 20 years of practical experience in property, alongside a strong background in administration and business operations.
Karen’s career began in senior clerical and personal assistant roles, where she developed a high standard of organisation, accuracy and process management. She later applied these skills to support and manage the day-to-day operations of a successful roofing business, overseeing administration, coordination and business systems.
Alongside this, Karen has been closely involved in managing and growing a private property portfolio. This has provided her with a clear understanding of property performance, long-term asset management and the practical realities of maintaining and improving buildings over time.
Her approach to development is structured and people-focused. She places strong value on building the right team and maintaining clear systems throughout each project.
“A company is only as strong as its systems and its people,” Karen says. “I focus on working with experienced professionals who understand the detail involved at every stage.”

Stephen Tyler
Stephen Tyler is Joint CEO of SKT Quality Builds. He brings over 30 years of experience in construction, supported by a strong background in property investment and development.
A fourth-generation industry professional, Stephen has developed a detailed understanding of buildings through hands-on experience across the construction trade. This practical knowledge supports a clear and measured approach to development, with a focus on build quality, structural awareness and effective delivery.
Alongside his construction background, Stephen has built experience in property investment, providing insight into how projects perform over time and how development decisions translate into long-term outcomes.
Stephen places strong emphasis on working with the right expertise at each stage of a project.
“I focus on building a team with the right technical knowledge to manage the complexities involved in changing how buildings are used,” Stephen says. “That experience makes a real difference when working through the detail of a project.”

Head of Design
Joe Marshall
Joe Marshall, founder of Silver Teal Ltd, leads our design function with a rare blend of technical expertise, creativity and practical, on‑site understanding of how successful developments come together. Beginning his career in the construction industry in 2013, Joe has built a strong reputation across London, the Midlands and the South East for producing schemes that are both commercially intelligent and grounded in real‑world buildability.
Joe’s approach is rooted in collaboration. “Joe works as a trusted architectural design partner to developers, helping turn sites and briefs into well‑designed, deliverable schemes.” He takes the time to understand each developer’s standards, priorities and commercial goals, ensuring every design reflects the vision for the site while maximising its potential.
Known for his approachable style and attention to detail, Joe acts as a consistent point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, providing continuity from concept through to completion. As the Head of Design, he ensures our schemes are thoughtful in their response to place and context, practical to build, and aligned with the high standards our company is known for.

Colin Smith
Founder of CJS Planning Services. With over 30 years of expertise as a Planning Consultant and Developer, Colin is highly regarded as a key authority on commercial-to-residential conversions. His in-depth knowledge of planning regulations, building controls, and planning law offers practical and economical solutions to unlocking the full potential of a property.
Legal Consultant
Tony Power
Tony Power is the founder of Empowerment Legal Consultancy Ltd and advises property investors, developers and business owners on legal, contractual and commercial risk across England and Wales.
His work focuses on identifying legal and contractual weaknesses before they become embedded in a project, commercial arrangement or dispute.
His professional background includes frontline policing, County Court advocacy, university law lecturing, accredited expert witness work and independent legal consultancy. He serves on the expert panel for Property CEO and is Legal Advisor for the UK and Europe within the Meta-Dology Key Leadership Team.
